Dear Summer..Part II

A friend of mine recently came to me like they do always and wanted to talk about a couple of issues she was having in her "love life" she says that every time she meets some one she thinks she likes it ends up being just a waste of time.The relationship is either seasonal or something just isn't right. I told her I am no Dr. Phil but I kind can relate to what she experiencing. So this was my advice to her and feel free to ad on any advice you have.

Ok so first as young women and men we tend to jump ahead of things instead of analyzing the situation then move on the the next step. We meet that someone and if we are really feeling them we tend to be blinded to all the negative things about that person or even take the time to figure out the negative things. Some of us put on acts or fronts when we meet someone we try to make it seem like on top of our shit so the other person would think good of you. From the dinners, texting all day, calling every hour and the #1 one thing we always go wrong at; spending way to much time around a person will definitely blind you from things you should have found out in the beginning. To make along story short SLOW SOWN don't just meet some one and because he or she make you smile from ear to ear when their number pops up on your cell phone.You automatically think you have found a winner cause if he or she is fronting you will look like the looser in the end. Friendship is always a good beginning it gives you time to really get to know a person on a "homie" level that way you can determine if that person is what your looking for.

Seasonal relationships do exist people and trust me I am the one to talk about them. Its like a fad or a trend that goes out of style. Its winter your bored, cold and just want chill so you find someone that you are cool with you guys chill because your bored and you like each others company. Soon as the weather breaks and the flip flops and tanks tops come in its a whole different story. I mean who wants to sit in the house and be all up under someone when its 91 degrees out side. Hotness brings tension and temptation not necessarily for the opposite sex but from anything to clubs, trips, new whips, and just wanting to be free and enjoy the nice weather. No this doesn't apply to everyone because I myself have been in a relationship that lasted for multiple seasons and it is a tuff thing to do. To avoid this take one simple action REALNESS you know dam well you act a fool in the summer so why get involve in the middle of march. AVOID! be considerate of other feelings I am slowly learning that.

My advice to her was along the same lines minus the cursing and screaming. I ended the conversation by telling her to just chill its ok to be single shit I love it!!!!! Take a trip here pop of few bottles there and then through up the piece sign!! Life is short have as much fun as you want cause when that rings is on that finger those days will be over. You need to figure yourself out first because you could be the reason for your love failure.............L Kisses

Dear Summer...

So sad the summer is almost over no more shorts skirts and dresses that say I'm a flirt. This summer has been an interesting summer for me I had my highs, lows, ups and downs but I still enjoyed my summer. From the exciting vacations to the partying hard and massive amounts of shots on a work night like I don't have a job. I have met so many wonderful people that made my summer even better. I have cut some actors and actress out of my script and I am working on a whole new story line. Made some mistakes and immediately learned from them. Funny how times can change so fast this day last year I thought I was ready for the next step but reality quickly slap me and made me realize that I had my own dreams to follow and there was no time to put them aside for anything else. So I guess you can say this summer was a growing and learning experience which is always a good thing. I'm leaving this summer and entering fall with a mean mug which means no more playing games no more sitting at my table if you have nothing to bring to it if your not kicking what your spitting then your worthless. Success awaits this girl name London and when I arrive I will take a deep breath and laugh and text that special someone that had no faith in me and say told you so.....

Enjoy every season and make the best out of every situation.

L:Can you tell us your name and your talent?

RAtheMC and I do it all! lol sike. I'm a rapper/singer/songwriter.

L:So what have you been up to and what are your latest projects?

RAtheMC:I've been grinding man. Just signed a deal over at Strange Music under DMV's own super producer Judah a couple of months ago. Since then we've been focusing on the mixtape that's out now titled "AMIXTAPE ABOUT SOMETHING....I THINK!"

L:In your own words explain how the rap game has change with rock hip hop hitting the scene with rappers such Shwayze, Cool Kids and GymClass Hero?

RAtheMC:Music like everything changes with the time. Now we're in a time where rappers are starting to explore all avenues of music and the fans are digging it. I love the turn rap is taking artistically. All I listen to are the new faces of rap.

L:How important is style to a rappers image?

RAtheMC:Style is everything. Like Kenny Burns says "branding" yourself as an artist is the most important factor in being successful. As a rapper,your style is your brand.

L:Who are your inspirations?

RAtheMC:I'm inspired by soooo many people. Way too many to name but my biggest inspiration is God. Waking up everyday inspires me.

L:Do you feel that their are rapper in the game that don't define HipHop and as a female what do you plan to do to get your respect?

RAtheMC: don't know if hip hop can be defined. There are definitely rappers in the game who don't live up to their title of being a "rapper."To get respect I deliver good music. I think people can tell sincerely love to rap. Not for money, not for fame, I just love to rap. you gotta respect that.

L:What can the fans expect from you in the future?

RAtheMC:BIG things. I'm gonna give little girls a reason to want to pick up a microphone again.

How was your Sunday????

Well mine was great except the fact that I lost my freaking BB but before that happen me and the ladies join some of our cool friends on a nice exclusive boat ride. Happy B-Day to Austin and Marko who for sure enjoyed their B_Day in style. Talking about being tipsy on a boat ride while the party is jumping on the roof. Big shout out to our captain for holding us down and making sure no one went over board. I am sure every one enjoyed themselves it was relaxing and memorable. Thank God for the BB it took really nice pics.

I was a lil skeptical about doing but I think its time for us women to stop being lazy and hit the gym. I attended a pool party in Philadelphia recently and from what I seen some women are really comfortable in a bikini looking like their 5 months pregnant.Now I understand if you don't care about how you look but you should. I always thought a women that was comfortable with her body has a great confidence in her self but looking like you just eat a basketball is just nasty!! Now my stomach is not the flattest but it looks pretty decent in a two piece.There are no excuses ladies why we all can not look decent in a two piece.
Take time out you day to do sit-ups you don't have to do many just do about 50 3 times a week of if you can do more than DO IT!!! Or you can try the Taboe Ab Work Out and trust me it works so try it!!

Like damn I hate my city!!!

Every one that knows me know that I hate my city to other people D.C is poppin but to me its just too normal. I mean its ok if you want to be in the "Corporate World" but that not for me see I am a Millennium Girl which mean I am into different and exciting things like Para Gliding through the sky's of Norway or living in a Dubai for 6 months an as your reading this I am making my plan to exscape.LOL... Shout out to my other family at Walter Reeds Ophthalmology for putting together a farewell party for me. I'm going to miss you guys so much you have been an huge impact in my life.Thank for the laughs (Mr.Dobbins), the advice (Sgt whetstone) and other great experiences I have had while I was there. Hope you understand that when more money calls London goes running!lol And besides I'm only moving to the third floor so I will still bother you guys daily.lol
